Cluster II overall champion in inter-school sports; Alyssa named MVP in girls’ volleyball

De San Jose Memorial Sports Center. The student of Flora National High School was adjudged Most Valuable Player in the just-concluded inter-school sports competition.

Cluster II compiled a total of 24 medals to bag the overall championship in the just-concluded inter-school sports competitions supported by the Local Government Unit of Flora.

Cluster II won 15 gold medals to become champion in the secondary level while Cluster I snatched nine gold medals to top the elementary division.

Alyssa De San Jose, Flora’s lone player with Cordillera Administrative Region  in the recent Palarong Pambansa in Albay Province, led the individual awardees as MVP for girls’ volleyball.

Out-of-school-youth Asgar Lantud  was adjudged MVP in boys’ volleyball while Aquiles Angelo of Flora East Central School was MVP for elementary division.

Anton De San Jose of St. Joseph’s H.S. named best spiker, Lawrence Mamba of  Flora Central as best server and James Calumpit of Flora National H.S. as rookie of the year.

Alyssa is playing with Team Poblacion East (women’s volleyball) in the ongoing 2016 Inter-barangay Sports competitions.basketball5
